The new features leverage OpenAI's Large Language Model, or LLM, to summarize meetings, generate recaps, and draft chat and email responses. On the heels of announcements from Microsoft, Google, and Slack, Zoom is the latest major productivity tool to get the AI treatment. Companies that offer services for businesses are going hard on AI, especially now that OpenAI has launched an API. Microsoft recently announced a similar tool for all of its Office apps called Copilot. Google added AI features for Gmail and Google Docs, and Salesforce launched the ChatGPT app for Slack. LLMs are able to quickly digest and analyze large amounts of information. So, the recent widespread availability of this technology is a game-changer for people who feel like there aren't enough hours in the day. Is the IQ acceptable or not? Namely, several FZ1000 users have reported some good results especially with the Extra Optical Zoom.Any sample of image taken using the upper features would be very welcome. Thanks in advance. It’s important to understand the difference between iZoom (IZ), Digital Zoom (DZ) and Extended Optical Zoom (EZ). As I understand it, IZ and DZ are very similar: they both “upsize” a small-size cropped image in-camera to return something with the same pixel count as an un-manipulated image. The same process can be performed – often with better results – in Post Processing by cropping an image down to a smaller pixel count, and then having the PP software re-size it back to the original pixel dimensions. IZ appears to have a better algorithm for this operation, so it gives better results than DZ.Extended Optical Zoom works the other way around: it’s only available when you set the camera to return Medium (10MP) or Small (5MP) JPEG images. Throughout the physical zoom range of the lens, the camera downsamples the original 20MP image from the sensor to the selected smaller size. From personal observation of both the FZ1000 and now the FZ2500, what seems to be going on is that once you turn the zoom ring beyond the E480mm optical limit, the camera starts to read and downsample a smaller and smaller area of the sensor, until you hit the maximum limit. At that point, there’s no downsampling going on at all – it’s a direct 1:1 readout of a 3888x2592 (10MP) or 2736x1824 (5MP) cropped area of the sensor. This can then be combined with IZ or DZ to obtain a theoretical E1920mm maximum focal length – but IQ starts to suffer severely when you do this. Some people have reported better results by just doing a simple 10MP or 5MP crop from an original 20MP image in PP compared to in-camera EZ, others the opposite. It may be an individual-camera variation, so it’s best to test it out & see for yourself. Here are some photos for comparison. Yes, it’s only a gull, but it was raining when I took these so my opportunities to photograph whilst keeping the camera dry were limited. All were shot from a tripod at the same distance, to demonstrate the magnification differences. It at least was cooperative enough to remain in the same location throughout the series!E480mm, 20MP, no iZoom:E480mm, 20MP, iZoom (960mm):E675mm,

This has been fixed. Ratings and Reviews Can’t set the sample rate Rode Rec was better. But has stopped working :/The old version of the iXY mic was so much better . This new I’ve feels like junk. Very disappointed. Wasted Two Bucks - Hope You Don’t So I was trying to use some of the auto features and it said those weren’t available. So I found the pro version and it did literally nothing more for me. Those features are apparently tied to the microphones. I have trusted Zoom for many years and I love my H4n, but this kind of shady game is a quick way to shed customer loyalty in a hurry. I can’t even tell you how many other people have H4n’s or better because of my recommendations. Don’t waste your money on this, especially if you trust Zoom and want to keep trusting them.UPDATE: This is the most useless product I’ve encountered in a long time. Like the free version, this one seems only engineered to “encourage,” purchasing a microphone and seems more like an afterthought than a handy recorder. There isn’t even a way to get the files from the free version INTO this version or even have the Pro version even see the files from the free version. This is deeply marred my opinion of Zoom and I sincerely hope they either completely remove this dreadful pair of products from existence or improve them to the point they’re actually usable. Seriously. With all the technology at our disposal, and all the power of the iOS infrastructure, that they can’t even allow renaming the files is absurd. I agree with other reviews. Stop mimicking the hardware limitations. Makes something functional instead of just a gimmick to sell another bit of hardware. Before I could
