In the pro, there is a Workstation.cab and a 15.5.2 build of vmnetcfg.exe.So I think it is safe to say I have the wrong version of vmnetcfg.exe was installed.update: the name of the "pro" download does say "full": VMware-workstation-full-15.5.2-15785246.exe. 7. Both of those folders only have the vmnetcfg.exe file. So, unfortunately it appears that the requirements have changed over the years.I used Dependency Walker on the 15.5.2 version and it listed several VMware dlls - I'm not sure if they are all required, but: vmapputil.dll vmwarebase.dll vmwarecui.dll vmwarestring.dll vmwarewui.dll vnetlib.dllSo, try just the vnetlib.dll first. Then add the others in the above list one at a time.
