The attached screenshot):- set the sample rate of the current audio device to match the same rate of the audio file using the DSP-Quattro Options->AudioSettings menu command (or on Preferences)- open the audio file on the DSP-Quattro Waveform Editor view, and load the DSP-Quattro External I/O Plug-in on insert on the Audio Editor channel strip (the one on the the left side of the waveform view)- configure the External I/O Plug-in to send audio to an auxiliary audio out of your audio device. Set audio inputs as well. As soon as it is safe to do it, turn OFF the Mute button on audio inputs (it is ON by default to avoid unwanted audio feedbacks).- open the DSP-Quattro Output Recorder using the menu command Windows->ShowOutputRecorder. Click on "Slave" button and on the Rec button to engage slave recording.- click on Play button on the Audio Editor, DSP-Quattro starts to record playing the file thru the I/O plug-in. Click on Stop button when done. DSP-Quattro asks if you wish to keep or discard the new recording. 2018 🎧 5 years Version 5.8 is now available. DSP quattro just saved me.I have an old .Sd2f CD Image file I had to open so I could edit one of the tracks.The only thing I had which would open it was Toast Titanium, which meant all i could do was burn a cd, no editing of tracks.I tried a few apps that I have, but none would import the Sd2f file.Finally, I tried DSP-Quattro.Boom, it imported the whole Cd image file and allowed me to make a copy of the track i wanted to edit, which I could then export as an AIFF file.Thanks very much DSP-Quattro Gear Maniac Joined: Nov 2018 🎧 5 years I use an external AU plug-in to do dithering, and I have turned off the internal dithering algorithm on the Preference, just as manual says. Now I noticed that there are also a button for dither when you do "Export audio". Do you need turn that button on/or off, when using 3thrd party dither plugin in your FX Chain? That button on the "Export audio" panel should be initialised to the same value of the flag on Preferences (this flag on Preferences is always used when burning an audio CD-ROM). If the button state is not synchronised with the flag on Preferences, I'll fix this in next release. (in FX chain last one as normally).So when exporting as audio file:1. I have already turned OFF "the internal dithering" in Preferences. Correct?2.
